Office 365 SME
Location: Milton Keynes
Duration: 6 Months Contract role
Rate £450 - £460 per day
IR35 Status: Outside
We require 3 x Office 365 SME's to provide 3rd line technical support and problem investigation of any O365 issues for this Government Client's customer environments. You will be required to maintain multiple O365 environments and be expected to suggest improvements to the environments to ensure they comply with current published best practices.
The role will involve day-to-day delivery of support services in accordance with SLAs, resolving incidents/problems which have been escalated from within the Global Service Centre (GSC) Service Desk. You will be required to file a comprehensive record of actions taken and solutions found and be integrated with the IAAS cloud team to provide high quality performance to customers and end-users.
Part of the role requires you to act as the point of contact at a third level for GSC products' incidents and requests logged via the main service desk function.
You will be expected to take ownership of an escalated incident or service request and carry out technical investigation, diagnosis and resolution or recovery of the issue.
Essential skills/experience required:
Considerable knowledge of managing Office 365 and other related cloud solutions.
Microsoft Exchange and it's interaction with Active Directory
Experience with the migration of large volumes of data into the cloud platform.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with user access to cloud services
Ability to create advanced PowerShell scripts to schedule repeatable Office 365 actions
Knowledge of Office 365 Teams/Groups/Delve/Power BI.
Supporting Skype for Business and troubleshooting call quality issues.
Experience managing directory sync into Azure AD.
Supporting the sync and sharing of large volumes of data with OneDrive.
Advanced skills managing Office 365 using PowerShell
Experience with Azure AD user management both for Office 365 and third-party services.
Exporting usage and licensing information through Office 365 reporting.
Understanding of firewall requirements needed for all Office 365 functions.
Deep understanding of supporting Office desktop applications.
Support of Office 365 mobile applications.
Advanced knowledge of migrating data and services between Office 365 tenants
