The Cambian Group, the UK’s largest provider of specialist services in education, mental health rehabilitation and learning disabilities, is looking for two dedicated, caring individuals to join the company as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Job Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and interested individual to work as part of the Occupational Therapy (OT) team within one of our Mental Health inpatient services.
This post will combine clinical and administrative support roles: You will help Patients to socialise within the Hospital, providing a variety of activities, which cater for all tastes. Assist patients in accessing activities and identifying needs. Maintain full and accurate records of daily therapies/activities using the relevant documents
You will receive regular supervision and, as part of the Cambian OT service, be eligible for training.
Candidate Profile
It is essential that the successful candidates have a knowledge of a Healthcare environment and a knowledge of Mental Health Issues.
You will have a proven ability to develop and organise a range of activities for Patients. Alongside this, you will be a team player, who can use their own initiative whilst being a clear communicator.
Basic IT skills and the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a busy team are essential for all aspects of this post.
