You will need to have excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative clinical style will be essential. Responsibilities will include specialist assessment and contribution to the multi-disciplinary team you are based in. This may involve a key worker role. You will be expected to deliver specialist occupational therapy assessment and treatment for both individuals and groups. You will also be responsible for making recommendations to facilitate safe and independent living. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and may have opportunity to support fieldwork education.
You will receive professional support and supervision from a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, will gain access to appropriate training and will have protected CPD time.
