Our Occupational Health Division employs over 100 staff within clinics located across the UK in London, Nottingham, Ellesmere Port and Warrington. We are a leading, SEQOHS accredited, provider of high quality occupational health and risk management services to organisations from all sectors of business across the UK.

Locations: Ellesmere Port or Warrington
Term 1-2 days per week (permanent basis)

Job Overview
This role will see the successful candidate responsible for the delivery of an occupational health service in the North of the UK. Working as part of a highly motivated customer focused medical team; carrying out office and client site based clinics with workplace visits; to a variety of different industry sectors.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for the delivery of an occupational health service in accordance with the requirements of RPS Occupational Health and in line with clinical governance as defined by the Faculty of Occupational Medicine
• Deliver clinic sessions (completing Medical Assessment, Management referrals and others) from our Ellesmere Port and/or Warrington clinic and at our client sites
• Provide support to nursing and technical personnel engaged in delivering occupational health services
• Comply with the implementation of our operational medical policies, procedures and systems
• Establish and maintain relationships which will effectively accomplish the company’s occupational health delivery goals and objectives
• Participate in Continuing Professional Development in order to maintain appropriate accreditation
• Attend bi-annual training sessions with other RPS Occupational Health Physicians and Consultants located throughout the UK

Requirements
• Held a previous occupational health physician position
• Able and willing to complete travel throughout the North West and to other RPS offices as and when required
• Hold a full UK driving license

Advantageous
• Appointed Doctor for Lead, Asbestos, Radiation one or all
• Holding AFOM status
• Working towards MFOM
