An exciting opportunity is available for a nursing assistant to join our team.
The successful candidate would have the opportunity to support patients attending clinics, working alongside consultants and specialist nurses from multiple specialities.
The post holder will need to be able to undertake venepuncture (full training can be given) and will also be involved in nurse led clinics such as flow rate and cardiology diagnostic procedures. Support trained nursing team deliver nurse led clinics and run phlebotomy and covid swabbing clinics
We are looking for a candidate that is caring and compassionate and keen to support the patient journey, adapting to new ways of working and able to communicate and support the multidisciplinary team.
The post holder may be required to work at other trust sites occasionally.
Post holder will need to flexible to meet needs of the service and may be required to work weekends.
