My client, a Children's nursery, in Southall are seeking a Level 3 or higher qualified Early Years Practitioner to join their team. This is for a full time permanent position, working up to 40 hours per week, with the option to work term tie only. You must have proven experience of working with children under the age of 6.
This is a great opportunity to build on your experience in Childcare and work towards more senior roles. This Nursery setting has the capacity for 20 children, so there is plenty of opportunity to undertake other task and get exposure to the full managent of the Nursery.
Nursery Practitioner duties include but not limited to:
*To develop and maintain positive relationships with children and families.
*To assist with the planning and delivery of a wide range of activities to
meet children’s needs.
*To work within the EYFS and promote high standards of care for the
*To maintain children’s safety and well being at all times
*To ensure good communication between staff and parent’s/carers.
*To work as a positive role model and member of the staff team.
*To keep records as required

Senior Early Years Practitioner Requirements:
*Minimum Level 3 qualification in childcare education
*Experience of providing play and learning opportunities for children.
*Good interpersonal skills and an ability to be organised and efficient
*The ability to support trainees through mentoring and coaching
*Acting as Key-worker and to observe
*A working knowledge of the Children’s Act.
*Experience working with toddlers or pre school
*Good communication skills both with children and parents
*Ability to form good interactions with children and use own initiative
*Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and the EYFS.
