Nursery Nurse required for toddler room in private day nursery
Your new company
This early years position is to work in a private day nursery in Bristol. The nursery has been open since 2002 and has gained an Ofsted 'Outstanding' standard; where the team of staff are fully committed to keeping up this standard of care. The nursery cares for children aged 3 months to 5 years with modern and new facilities that enhance children's engagement and learning.
Your new role
You will be working in the toddler room caring for up to 16 children aged 2-3, working with a team of 4 other staff members. You will be planning and leading creative activities that will engage the children's learning, as well as keeping track and observing your key children's stages of development. This will include using tapestry and completing learning journals to feed back to parents and carers. This is a full time role where you will be working 43 hours over the week.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this role you will need to be a minimum of Level 3 Qualified in childcare and have experience in caring for children in an early years setting. It is desirable that you are paediatric and first aid trained although the nursery offers ongoing training.
