Requirements - Nursery Practitioner/Nursery Nurse/Early Years Educator/Level 2 or Level 3

  • Childcare qualification Level 2, 3 or above

  • Able to work full time, shift patterns, all year round

  • A professional attitude

  • Commitment to providing high quality care and education

  • Understanding of Montessori practice - desirable but not essential

Main duties - Nursery Practitioner/Nursery Nurse/Early Years Educator/Level 2 or Level 3

  • To work as part of a team, with shared responsibilities

  • To build positive relationships with children and their families

  • To observe and track children’s development

  • To plan and carry out activities, that reflect each child’s interests and stages of development

  • To share information with parents daily, about their child’s learning

  • Follow the nursery’s policies and procedures, including safeguarding and confidentiality.

  • £16,000 - £18,500 depending on level 2 or 3 and experience
