Nursery Nurse

Our client is looking to appoint a number of experienced Nursery Nurses to join their friendly team in Mill Hill.

To apply you must be a qualified practitioner (level 3 or above or working towards) to join and have experience working with children within early years, be enthusiastic and display excellent knowledge of the EYFS. You must have a passion to safeguard and improve outcomes for all children.

The Role:

  • To work as part of a team in one of the Nurseries four learning rooms
  • To effectively plan and carryout stimulating and purposeful activities, meeting the individual needs of the children in your care
  • To provide a safe and secure learning environment which nurtures and safeguard the children

Requirements of Nursery Nurse Level 3 role:

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent (applicants currently working towards level 3 or interested in studying will also be considered)
  • Clear DBS
  • Understanding of play based approach to children’s learning and development
  • An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Knowledge of child protection procedures
  • Passion for working with children
  • Strong communication skills: written and verbal
  • Good timekeeping and organisational skills
  • An enthusiastic, flexible, can do attitude

This is a full time (40 hours) position, however job shares and part time applicants will also be considered.
