We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and caring Nursery Assistant to join our Harwell Day Nursery in Didcot, Oxfordshire.

Harwell Nursery is located close to the A34 and the B417 on the Harwell Oxford Science, Technology and Business Campus, making it ideally situated for employees and local residents. As well as large outside play areas the nursery has a separate baby unit for the under 2’s with 3 rooms and their own garden.

a) Carrying out all related responsibilities as a key worker in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS.
b) Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues.
c) Ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times.
a) Experience working with children is preferred but not essential!
b) A passionate and positive attitude towards working with children.
a) Level 2 or 3 in Childcare
c) Awareness of EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage framework).
You may have experience of the following: Nursery Nurse, Childcare Assistant, Early Years Learning Practitioner, Play worker, Nursery Teacher, Early Years Educator, Preschool Assistant, Childminder, Nanny, Au Pair, Governess, Babysitter, Breakfast / After school Clubs Volunteer, Bank Nursery Worker etc.
