Our client, a well-established and nurturing early years setting based in Woodford Green, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Nursery Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years
  • Deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences tailored to individual needs
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s development
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with parents and carers
  • Support children with daily routines, mealtimes, and personal care
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times


About You

We’re looking for someone with a genuine passion for early years education and a warm, caring approach.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • A full and relevant Level 2 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
  • GCSEs (A–C / 5–9) in core subjects
  • A sound understanding of child development and EYFS principles
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive, positive, and creative mindset
  • Training in First Aid, Food Hygiene, Safeguarding, or FGM awareness is advantageous
