Nurse (RMN) Unit Manager, Permanent Position £35,000 Per Year

We are looking for an experienced Nurse (RMN) Manager to manage a New Brain Injury Unit. This is a Full Time Permanent Position that pays £35,000 per year.

The unit has the facilities to house 8 residents and their Nursing Home is situated on the outskirts of Chesterfield.

As a Nurse Unit Manager (RMN) you will use your knowledge and experience of Brain Injury to join the team at this purpose-built Unit to assist the residents with their activities of daily living providing a care centred approach round their detailed care package. Whether you're planning rotas, recruiting, training and mentoring staff, helping co-ordinate comprehensive daily activity plans, or building strong relationships with local regulators and social services, you'll ensure your unit goes from strength to strength. Quality control will be key too, as you ensure you are complying with the NMC guidelines on administration of medicine, meeting safeguarding regulations and keeping records.

This new unit specialises in Brain Injury so an interest and experience in this is essential. You will be expected to work alongside the established team of Carers and assisting them with the smooth day to day running of the Unit.

  • You'll be equipped with a current NMC registration, RMN and evidence of continued professional development

  • Up-to-date with the most recent clinical practices, you also have professional experience of producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments

This service is staffed 24 hours per day.

This is a Full Time Permanent position

RMN with a current NMC pin is essential. A management qualification is desired but not essential

The salary for this role is £35,00 per year
