Band 5 – Nurse - Nicol Unit

South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a caring, compassionate, self-motivated and reliable Nurse to work on the Nicol Unit based at the Stratford upon Avon Hospital. The Nicol unit is a 20-bed GP run ward caring for patients who require admission prevention, rehabilitation or palliative care or sub-acute intervention.

You will be an autonomous practitioner and be part of the multi-disciplinary team. You must have the ability to work flexibly and efficiently using your own initiative contributing to the smooth running of a busy department and ensure that the care we provide for our patients is of the highest quality. You will be part of a friendly supportive team and assist in leading an independent unit.

The successful candidate will be a compassionate, empathetic and sensitive to the needs of patients and staff. You must be self-motivated, driven and enjoy working within a busy environment where no day is the same.

All eligible staff recruited to the Trust are expected to maintain their annual update subscription whilst employed with the Trust as a condition of employment. The cost of the first year’s subscription to the update service will be reimbursed by the Trust as a payroll refund.
