Nurse Associate

An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and caring qualified Nurse Associate to join the nursing team on the Ambulatory Assessment Area at Royal Albert Edward Infirmary. This is a full time post (37.5 hours) working across a 7 day week.

Candidates should be Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC Register with a Foundation Degree and will be required to present these qualifications at interview stage.

Previous experience within a healthcare setting is essential. Previous experience in acute medicine and care of the elderly is preferred but is not essential.

Our Wards are dedicated to delivering a high standard of care and focusing on the individual needs of patients. All our wards promote rapid discharges and facilitate complex discharges with the multi disciplinary team and support agencies.

You will be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills and develop your skills and knowledge within this specialty. The successful candidate will have the ability to work as a team and also to utilise their own initiative.

This vacancy is open to internal and external candidates. Employees should ideally secure their manager’s agreement for a secondment arrangement ideally prior to applying, as this will be a condition of any offer made.

This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term basis as it has been established to provide cover for an employee on maternity leave either until 1st January 2021 or upon the return of the substantive postholder from maternity leave.
