About the Role

A large and well-established regional law firm is looking to appoint a Newly Qualified Corporate Solicitor to join its growing corporate team in the West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ looking to build a long-term corporate career within a supportive, high-performing team that acts on high-quality regional, national and cross-border transactions.

The role offers exposure to a broad mix of corporate work, with early responsibility, close partner support and a clear development pathway. You will work with a diverse client base ranging from owner-managed businesses to larger corporates, investors and financial institutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting on a wide range of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, disposals and reorganisations

• Assisting with private equity and investment matters

• Drafting and reviewing transaction documents and ancillary agreements

• Carrying out due diligence and managing transaction timetables

• Liaising with clients, advisers and colleagues across other practice areas

• Building technical knowledge and commercial understanding through hands-on deal experience

About You

This role would suit a Newly Qualified Solicitor who is keen to specialise in corporate law and develop within a strong regional platform.

You will have:

• Recently qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales

• Completed a corporate seat or have demonstrable corporate experience during training

• Strong drafting and analytical skills

• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and development

• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

• Good communication skills and attention to detail
