West and South Norfolk Care Group are looking to appoint 2 full time Non Medical Prescribers (NMPs) to work in our Crisis and Home Treatment Team based in King’s Lynn.
The post holders will be independent Non-Medical Prescribers and will work within our multi-disciplinary team. In the role, you will need to provide assessment and treatment which includes the prescribing of medications within a defined scope of practice. You will need to provide advice and support to GPs, other relevant professionals and service users and carers on mental health medications.
You will contribute to the overall assessment, risk assessment and planning of holistic support for service users open to the CRHT and be supported by the Nurse Consultant within CRHT – with further support and supervision available as required.
This is an exciting time to join our West integrated acute service, where we have a state-of-the-art new inpatient facility. All our community teams are also based on site which supports an integrated and joined up approach to patient pathways. We are in the process of transforming our approach to working with Primary Care and CMHTs to improve patient outcomes.
You will be supported to develop your career and we are proud to have a very strong senior nurse workforce within the Care Group who will offer support, mentorship and coaching opportunities to support successful applicants with their career development. You will also have access and protected time to attend the NSFT NMP Forum.
Should the successful candidate be a newly qualified NMP then a bespoke preceptorship package can be offered in post by the Nurse Consultant.
