Using experiences and initiative to challenge existing ways of working and collaboratively identify, propose and deliver continuous improvements to the testing services.

How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?
As a Non Functional Testing Manager within Worldpay Group Technology & Engineering, you will be leading all aspects of Performance and Operational Acceptance test delivery across NAP, a large scale, high complexity systems whilst having the opportunity to remodel and reinvigorate current working practices. You'll be accountable for influencing and delivering the strategy that will transform NFT realising the long term vision of a centre of excellence model working across multiple projects and programmes within the company

This will include driving the implementation of a new operating model, new processes and standards, the latest tools and technology and people capability you'll be responsible for delivering. You'll be leading and managing large teams of varied skill sets, to improve system performance and ensure operational robustness within a fast paced demanding delivery environment as part of an industry leading payments company.

What will make you the ideal candidate?

Extensive hands on testing background with in depth knowledge of software automation techniques. You will have Experience with managing teams of 10+ people and evidence of successfully delivering NFT Testing across major projects and programmes utilising a range of delivery methods. You will also have extensive experience using a broad range of performance test tools and techniques including with continuous release environments and be a holder of the ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing.

Experience and knowledge of Java, Shell Scripting, SQL query language, UNIX operating system, Fundamentals of DB Management, Automated Test Systems e.g. QTP or Selenium, Internet systems, Direct Tracking Systems, and Test Management Systems-HP ALM, JIRA

The ability to demonstrate a good understanding of infrastructure, system design and integration within a complex technical landscape. Strong verbal and written communication skills and able to articulate technical and non-technical issues. Ability to think strategically whilst critically understanding the impacts of decisions. Understanding of load profiling, test data and change management.
