A Night Warehouse Operative is required by a distribution firm. As Night Warehouse Operative you will be:

  • Familiar with and compliant with all operational procedures that are in place

  • Ensuring the Goods-In and Warehouse areas are left in good order and are clean after each shift

  • Carrying out tidy maintenance of equipment, cages and yorkies in the goods in, forecourts and warehouse areas.

  • Maintaining and using the Goods-In and Warehouse equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and schedule.

  • Ensuring that no job without adequate job instruction, charge note or consignment note is processed without first raising a query with the line manager.

  • Preparing jobs as set out by the manager - sorting, scanning, weighing, bagging, boxing and labelling for despatch

  • Counting and updating for stock and making stock requests

You will ensure the level of quality and standard expected for all processes is maintained and produce reports and paperwork as required. You will also handle loading and unloading of supplier vehicles either by forklift or manually and maintain security of site and clients stock by monitoring entrances.

Hours : 20:00 - 04:00.
