This organisation are looking for experienced support workers to join their team on a permanent basis. They specialise in providing a 'safe haven' respite service for individuals experiencing a crisis in their mental health. They pride themselves on their highly skilled team of support workers and are now looking to recruit new support workers who have a passion to supporting people with mental health.
Your new role
Your new role as a night support worker will entail supporting individuals throughout the course of the night by monitoring and support the clients with their recovery, this will be done while working apart of a specialist team and with community based services. You will be trained to Implement personalised care and supporting the clients on their pathway. You may also be asked to cover on local sites as they are a provider that have multiple sites in the local area.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed as a support worker with this care provider, you will need experience of working with clients in mental health environment. They will supply you with specialised training however an understanding of the environment is important. NVQ in health and social care is desirable but not essential. The organisations are looking to recruit support workers who are interested in either working day and/or night shifts
What you'll get in return
You will be paid an annual salary of between £14657.76 and £15268.50. Specialised training relevant to supporting individuals within a mental health respite service will be provided along with the opportunity to complete your NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care if not already held on profile. This organisation will also ensure you are supplied with a DBS if you do not already have one on the update service.
