Would you like to make a difference to young children’s lives? Do you want a challenging job which makes you proud every day?
Are you a friendly, compassionate, reliable and resilient individual?
Apply now and if successful, we will help you develop a career as a care professional.
Working as a Night care worker within our site, you will be required to support and care for children with complex needs. Keeping them safe and comfortable and promoting their independence as much as possible, is a big part of this role. You would attend to the children’s needs throughout the night, complete general housekeeping duties and help the children to get ready for their day, in the mornings.
Our young people have behavioural, learning or mental health challenges and therefore, require enough support and guidance to achieve their own personal goals and be given opportunities they wouldn’t necessarily have had. Therefore, we require our staff to be motivated by helping others and have a keen interest in working with Special Educational Needs.
You will be fully trained and be expected to attend to individual personal care needs and deescalate challenging situations.
The advertised salary is broken down to the following: Starting salary £18,000- £19,000 for 40 contracted hours per week. Plus one un-contracted sleep-in a week- £2470 and one extra un-contracted 8.5 hour overtime shift per two weeks- £2376 = £22846- £23846 per annum.
There is further earning potential with every additional sleep-in paid at £47.50 per night and any overtime paid at £10.75ph
Please take 5 minutes to fill out an initial application and then one of the team will be in touch to discuss further.
