A market leading 3PL is currently recruiting a Night Shift Manager for one of their expanding contracts in the Northampton area paying £40k.

Key Responsibilities of Night Shift Manager:

  • To maximise the performance of the operation by directing the daily, weekly and monthly activities
  • providing leadership, motivation, training and development of the workforce, executing against customer requirements, operational performance
  • To successfully manage the team in line with company operating systems and all other policies and procedures
  • You will be responsible for abiding by, and ensuring compliance with, the company's Privacy Notice, Information Security Controls and Email, Internet and Databases Policy
  • Budget management within the responsibility of the role
  • Delivery of a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for team members
  • Team building and morale management
  • Responsibility for all issues relating to Health & Safety and the Environment within your shift
  • Maximise accuracy, productivity and space utilization
  • Ensure daily/weekly workload planning and volume forecasting routines are accomplished

The ideal candidate with have the following:

  • Previous warehouse management experience (3 years)
  • Experienced in objective setting
  • Experienced at working in fast paced, high volume environment
  • Has previously done workload planning
  • Knowledge in preventative maintenance routines
  • Has previously worked in the supply chain/logistics environment
