Night Residential Care Worker - Children with Learning Needs

Hourly rate: £7.50 - £9.00 per hour plus excellent staff benefits and training for professional qualifications!



This award winning provider of therapeutic residential childcare seeks three new Night Residential Care Workers for a brand new residential home for children with mild to moderate learning needs. Offering the highest quality environment, the children benefit form large bedrooms and excellent facilities to ensure they enjoy a high quality life with excellent support. This organisation offers many staff benefits and considers part time (3 nights per week) or full time staff.


Set in beautiful grounds, this historic building offers a lovely, high quality home.

Duties include:

  • Assisting with bedtime routine where necessary - this is not a role that requires personal care, The children are all able to undertake their own personal care with prompting and support
  • Help to provide a calm, safe and nurturing environment that will enable the children to settle well for sleep
  • Assist the children throughout the night time if they have any needs
  • Provide patient, calm, caring and fun support


Are you a caring, patient and fun individual with the ability to offer calm and well structured support to a group of children with learning needs? Do you have experience in supporting children in a parenting, care or voluntary capacity? Experience of supporting children with learning needs, including Autism (ASC) is a benefit, but not essential.
