A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably motivated, experienced and skilled RMN, who wishes to be involved in caring for females with emotionally unstable personality disorder as a primary diagnosis in a low secure setting. This position will mainly cover night duties.
Cygnet Hospital Coventry is a brand new hospital on the site of the old St Mary’s School in Lansdowne Street, Coventry. It opened its doors to admissions in April 2017. The hospital comprises of 56 beds, and offers specialist inpatient services for women across three wards, with step down facilities also forming part of the care pathway.
Applicants must have the ability to manage a busy ward environment on an on-going basis. They must be committed to providing the highest quality of care to patients, carers and purchasers of our service. They must have interpersonal skills of the highest order to liaise with numerous professionals and must also be able to demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, whilst ensuring the highest quality standards are achieved at the ward level. It will be their responsibility to ensure the agreed care pathway is implemented involving all members of the MDT.
