Night Care Team Leader

Night Care Team Leader needed at The Chestnuts, Aylesbury.
Salary:
£10.13 per hour.
Hours of work:
30 hours per week, mixture of early and late shifts on a rota basis, including alternative Weekend’s and Bank Holiday’s.

Key Responsibility

To develop and lead a person-centred team that supports each individual to live the life of their choice. To act as a Designated Responsible Person (DRP) in charge of the home on a shift basis. To ensure that the highest standard of care is maintained in accordance with Heritage Care’s policies and procedures and CQC Essential Standards of Quality and Safety.


Role Specific Requirements

QCF Diploma/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)

Ability to prioritise tasks and delegate accordingly

Knowledge of the CQC Essential Standards of Quality and Safety

Working in a Residential, Nursing or Domiciliary care setting for a minimum of 2 years

The home is able to accomodate and support up to 32 residents with a higher level of support needs, specifically those living with dementia. Residents at The Chestnuts enjoy a welcoming and social environment where they can choose to participate in a range of activities and events. The spacious lounges are perfect for residents to sit and relax, socialise or watch television.
