Night Care Assistant - Children’s Home

£18,385 - £20,815 per annum

11 hours per night, 4 nights on 4 nights off, 52 weeks per year

A vacancy has arisen in our school night team, within the children’s home. As Night Care Assistant, you will be part of a team providing a high level of personal care, ensuring the safety of the children and young people with epilepsy, learning disability and complex health needs and reacting appropriately to night health monitoring equipment. Previous experience in care is essential. A relevant qualification in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) would be an advantageous.

St Elizabeth’s Centre provides education, and care support for people with epilepsy and other complex needs. We manage a specialist residential Children’s Home for children and young people aged 5 - 19 on our site in Much Hadham, Hertfordshire.

You will be supported in a structured environment where training and professional development are key. You will need to be a good communicator, having sensitivity and stamina to work in this interesting and rewarding environment. Comprehensive induction and training will be given.
