NHS Part-Time Service Administrator

NHS Part-Time Service Administrator in the Bradford area.

Taskmaster are currently seeking a Part-Time Service Administrator for an NHS client in the BD21 area.

Hours of Work: 22.5 hours per week, Monday & Friday plus 1 further weekday, 09:00-17:00.

Rates of Pay: £8.01-8.70ph.

Duration: Up to 3 months initially with scope for extension.

Job Summary:

Delivery of clerical support to a range of identified clinical services prioritising and managing own workload using the workflow management system to respond to work activities, customer queries, responding to correspondence.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

- General Administration

o Data inputting

o Clinical Administration within Clinical record systems (appointment booking, record keeping, waiting list maintenance, adding referrals etc.)

o Undertake planned and unplanned work activities as assigned by Team Supervisor

o General office duties (Letter typing, photocopying, filing, ordering, support with office stock control, scanning, post etc.)

o Effective diary management

o Meeting arrangements and support

o Dictation / Audio Typing

o Copy typing of assessments, reports and letters

o Produce high quality documents from written, recorded, dictated material

o Support with assigning workflow management activities

o Manage own workload and activity so that deadlines are achieved

o To support with collecting data

- System Administration

o Using workflow management system prioritising and supporting with coordination of requests

o Book rooms across the Trust as requested through the booking system

o Using Microsoft Office software as part of daily role

o Using Trusts Intranet to support with role

o Using Digital Dictation software and maintaining letter templates

o General clinical system support (e.g. letter templates, applying rotas, maintaining waiting lists)

- Customer Service / Communication

o Providing telephony service to Trust wide services and ensuring the calls are routed to the relevant service and department

o Dealing with telephone and personal enquiries from members of the public and healthcare professionals

o Arranging appointments, interpreters and booking of transport as and when requested by members of the clinical teams

o Be a first point of contact for identified clinical services ensuring professional standards and the appropriate style of communication is deployed depending on the situation.
