NHS Call Handler

Proactive Personnel are proud to be representing their client who is currently seeking experienced Call Handlers to join a dynamic team within the NHS, your role will be to liaise with various practices and personnel around Shropshire, ensuring all personnel and patients receive an excellent level of customer service. This role requires someone who is IT literate with excellent administrative skills coupled with the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.

As a NHS Call Handler for our client your duties will include;

  • Liaising with various personnel and GP practices on a daily basis

  • Producing repeat prescriptions using GP practice software

  • Liaise with community pharmacies regularly

  • Diary management and coordinating appointments

The successful candidate will require;

  • IT Literate

  • Experience within a similar position

  • GCSE Level C or above in both Maths and English

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent telephone manner

  • Able to work efficiently within a team

  • Able to work well under pressure within a fast paced environment

  • Full training will be given

  • Previous call centre experience would be advantageous
