News Editor/Senior Journalist
Our client is an independent publisher of business-to-business magazines and produces events in the legal, finance and insurance industries. They encourages employees to take ownership of their development & responsibilities so as News Editor/Senior Journalist you will be joining a team of determined individuals who fully commit to projects and enjoy being accountable for their success.
Two of their leading Magazines are expanding their teams and so are now looking for two experienced, dynamic and ambitious News Editors/Senior Journalists to help them grow and improve their product portfolio, taking responsibility for key sectors of their content strategy and become a key part of a tight-knit editorial team.
The role would suit someone with a minimum of five years’ experience in business-to-business journalism and the News Editor/Senior Journalist will take responsibility for increasing and improving their news output on a daily basis through research, analysis, leveraging market contacts and conducting in-depth interviews with key market figures. The News Editor/Senior Journalist needs to be an excellent editor and writer and ideally, have some experience or understanding of the risk-transfer landscape globally including dynamics between companies, insurers and reinsurers OR experience within law/legal sector specifically Intellectual Property. The News Editor/Senior Journalists will ideally also have some good contacts in the industry developed during previous roles.
Intention is that this role will expand as the business grows, new products are launched, and new team members are recruited and ultimately taking responsibility for entire magazines or websites. In addition, you will have the chance to have a say in the development of the business including launching and managing new products.
