This role is designed for a resilient and bright Year 5 Teacher who has a passionate and exciting presence in the classroom. The successful candidate will have a charismatic and proactive teaching style which is tempered with a drive to provide top class lessons that will result in excellent attainment.
In this position you will be leading a Year 5 class of 29 bright pupils and you will be pushing yourself to learn and understand more through a generous CPD allowance. Working under the watchful eye of the SLT you will be working in a supportive teaching environment where everyone is focussed on the progression of the school as a whole. You can expect to have one or more graduate TAs at your disposal to act as an extra pair of eyes and ears in the classroom. With a mentor on offer in the form of a parallel year 5 teacher you will be given all the support and guidance you could ask for. Your responsibilities will include planning, preparing, and delivering lessons that explore moral, social, and cultural issues, not simply academic problems.
