Our client is an expanding extremely forward thinking and client focused Surrey based practice. Their team has over 60 years combined experience both within major accountancy firms and in industry, a broad base of knowledge that gives them a wide ranging commercial overview which is of great benefit to their expanding number of clients.
This friendly and highly professional firm are currently recruiting for the unique role of Client Relationship Manager. This newly created role will effectively oversee the compliance requirements of their Limited Company clients, as well as advisory needs of clients. The Client Relationship Manager will report directly to the Practice Manager, and manage an Accounts Assistant who will take care of the bookkeeping, payroll, VAT returns etc.
This Practice is welcoming, supportive & well established as well as ambitious and are currently in an exciting transitional stage. This newly created role is effectively an accounts supervisory role with additional responsibilities specifically being a facilitator, managing client deadlines & making use of the tools around them. Applicants will also need to be "hands-on" and need to roll up their sleeves on occasions and the key requirements are as follows:
2-3 years post qualification experience or similar gained in a Practice environment.
A strong working knowledge of the IRIS suite (or CCH)
Experience of managing both a reasonable sized portfolio of small to medium sized companies (100-150) and junior staff members
Excellent communication skills and be able to explain complex accountancy terminology to a non accounts audience.
Target driven and appreciates the requirements of a service delivery and deadline orientated environment.
A problem solver able to work to crucial deadlines
