New Role! Investment Helpdesk Consultant

Our client, a financial services firm in Central Bristol, is seeking an Investment Helpdesk Consultant to join their team

This is a busy and varied role which will require a self-motived individual. The main responsibilities will be to provide investment information and assistance to a large client base with phone based enquiries ranging from general account servicing to technical queries. The role will also involve daily communication via email and letter, with occasional client meetings. The position will give you the opportunity to learn about investments and gain a good technical understanding of products.


  • Minimum 2 A-Levels or equivalent

  • Basic computer literacy

  • Excellent verbal communication skills

  • Excellent telephone manner

  • Excellent written skills

  • Excellent numeracy skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to perform under pressure

  • Professional approach

Desirable Skills and Attributes:

  • Degree level 2:2 or above

  • Basic knowledge of financial services

  • Experience of financial services

  • Experience of holding positions of responsibility (work or non-work related)

  • Confident, accomplished telephone manner

  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines

  • Problem solving skills

  • Analytical skills
