Sales and Business Development Executive
Permanent. Basic £18,000. OTE £30,000 + in year two
Our client is a successful B2B supply company that have been established for over 15 years. They have an extensive database of current, past and potential clients and are now looking to recruit a motivated Sales and Business Development Executive to use this valuable resource as the cornerstone of their sales growth. The role will be based around elements of cold-calling, warm leads and existing account management and Field sales visits will also form a part of the duties as will some general assistance in the overall operation of the business. A current, full driving license will therefore be a necessity. Joining a small team in their comfortable offices this is a varied and rounded role that is ideal for a confident self starter looking to develop their sales career.
Successful candidates should be enthusiastic, highly motivated self starters who are happy to work on their own initiative. They should not afraid of getting "stuck in" to both the mundane duties required of an operationally biased sales function together with the creative aspects of the development of sales initiatives. A natural customer affinity is a prerequisite together with good communication and interpersonal skills.
A basic salary of £18,000 is offered together with a generous bonus scheme of 10% of Profit that makes an OTE in excess of £30,000 very achievable in the second year. Hours are 9:00 to 5:30 Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch.
