New Business Sales Manager

Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a leading media software provider based in central Croydon looking for a New Business Sales Manager.

Working across a portfolio of market leading platforms, the role is to target and close new business revenue by driving, managing and closing free trial requests whilst proactively sourcing new business from lapsed clients and other sources across the range of services.

The ideal candidate will have a background in either Software Sales or Media Sales, predominantly selling over the phone (face to face experience not essential but desirable). This role requires a consultative approach and will deal with repeat and new business accounts.

Key responsibilities:

  • Dealing with incoming customer requests for trials and more information
  • Identifying customer requirements for an effective trial through telephone contact
  • Set up and update client information on relevant internal systems
  • Maintain effective customer service throughout the trial process
  • Review the trial and quote the customer with reference to the relevant package costs
  • Effectively close sales leads following trials
  • To maximise revenue from new clients
  • Proactively source and target new business from lapsed clients and from other sources
  • To demonstrate and provide training for the various services offered, over the telephone and face to face
  • To deliver on sales targets
  • To ensure the pipeline management system is kept up to date
  • To ensure client satisfaction and to ensure high standards of customer service
  • To achieve outlined key performance indicators

Key performance indicators:

  • High level of customer calls per a week
  • Targeted level of demos per a week
  • Targeted level of trials initiated each week

  • Experience selling and account managing software or media solutions to small, medium and large organisations

In order to qualify for the role; applicants must have 2+ years B2B Software or Media Sales experience , over the phone and ideally including face to face sales.

In return a basic of up to £30K plus a genuine year one OTE of £10K
