New Business Sales Executive

Based in Leeds (LS12)

Salary circa £22,000 depending on experience (rising to £25k after 6 months) + excellent commission

My client, who are a leading Software Vendor based in the LS12 area of Leeds are looking for 'New Business Sales Hunters’. They have experienced huge amounts of growth and are looking to expand their successful sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with B2B sales experience to progress in their career and work within a thriving and lucrative industry.

The purpose of the new business team is to contact potential new clients and promote the company and their products and services. The new business team is where future sales and account manager stars are grown. The company offers an innovative and proven approach where you will be part of a sales 'academy’ for the first six months and although you will have KPI’s to hit there will be no actual GP target for until you 'graduate’ from the academy. This means you can hit the ground running with the new business you will have used your sales skills to generate.

This role should be viewed as a gateway into a long-term career, this role would suit someone at the start of their sales career and who is a high achieving B2B telesales agent or maybe a recruitment consultant who wants to focus on a sales only career.

Please note to be considered for this role you must have outbound B2B telesales experience (at least 6 months).

The Role

  • Outbound sales calls, often cold calls
  • Generating qualified leads
  • Booking product demonstrations and Webex’s
  • Inviting potential clients to company events
  • Building a sales pipeline
  • Communicating with C-level Directors and relevant decision makers
  • Full and comprehensive training and development will be given

The Person

  • At least 6 months experience in a B2B sales role
  • Ambitious and looking to progress in their career
  • Driven and motivated
  • Charismatic
  • IT Literate
