Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience) + bonus
Location: Commutable to Leicester

Our client is a successful leading provider of fully integrated, mission critical software applications to the UK public sector and emergency services market. With a sound understanding of the distinctive requirements required in the information systems, our client focuses on providing mission critical software and excellent customer service. Due to its continued success and their strategy for further growth within the UK our client now seeks a dynamic and personable sales executive to identify, develop and close new sales opportunities.

The Role: New Business Development Manager:

As a New Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in the expansion of the company's current portfolio. Utilising existing skills, your role will be to create and uncover opportunities throughout emergency services and the public sector. Driving sales forward, this role will include both speaking over the phone as well as meeting and presenting face-to-face.

Speaking with C-level executives, this role will suit an articulate and entrepreneurial individual who can boast a strong track record of sales success.

Knowledge/ Experience Required:

Our client is looking for a high energy, driven and motivated individual who can proactively seek and close new business and identify new market opportunities. The successful applicant will be a dynamic and hungry new business sales professional with gravitas and credibility.

Core skills and background include:

§ A successful background in Software and System Integration solutions
§ Proven track record of achieving sales targets
§ Strong problem solving skills
§ Ability to work alone and closely with a team - both in person and virtually
§ Experience of selling a technology solution into the Emergency Services / Public Sector (ideally software)
§ Excellent structure and process
§ A good understanding of marketing
§ A proven track record in business development
§ A strategic approach and creative thinking style to target new markets
