New Business Development Manager / Sales Account Manager

Role:

Due to expansion, Cream Soda Recruitment is seeking a tenacious New Business/Sales Development Manager with proven experience cold calling, opening doors, building accounts from scratch and nurturing relationships to join our client’s growing team.

Client:

Our client is a large and very successful importer with an extensive and impressive own-brand and licenced product range. Categories include fragrances, candles, air-fresheners, diffusers to deodorize offices and personal spaces.

About You:

The ideal contender will be a hungry, driven, ambitious sales person. Someone who wants to earn and is a natural when it comes to client and customer engagement.

Sales Manager Responsibilities and duties:

  • Experience cold calling, booking meetings, presenting to new clients and closing deals
  • Excellent relationship building & customer service skills
  • Excellent negotiating skills
  • Self-motivator and highly organised
  • Resilient and head strong
  • Creative thinker with the ability to think outside the box
  • Managing accounts when necessary

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of two of years proven experience selling volume order FMCG into UK supermarkets / high-street retailers / forecourts, and increasing your orders YOY
  • An extensive network of contacts (Buyers) within multinationals
  • An in-depth understanding of the import & supply chain
  • A full and clean UK drivers licence
