New Business Development Account Manager
£25,000 - £30,000 plus car allowance
This role is predominately office based however you will spend up to three days in the field supporting Regional Development during the company’s busiest times. The role will concentrate on the engineering, IT and communications sectors to sell the benefits of membership sales and supporting products and services. Maximising revenue from membership sales and increase the company’s market presence within a specified geographical region.

To achieve agreed annual membership sales targets
To develop membership opportunities
Share information within membership team and provide further regional membership recruitment opportunities
To work with the Regional Development Managers to deliver presentations to Students and Apprentices
To work with other departments to ensure regional leads and contacts are qualified then distributed
Liaise with the Regional Development Manager to ensure membership prediction spreadsheets are up to date
Log and initially follow up all new leads per region
Work across all accounts to co-ordinate national activity
Obtain purchase orders or payment as required
To work closely with the retention team to ensure third party schemes are run in accordance with internal processes and meet customer expectations
To record all account activity on the CRM System (Microsoft Dynamics)
Follow up RDM attendance sheets after presentation to collect payment
To travel throughout the UK regularly
Demonstrable track record in sales
Confident in dealing with people at all levels internally and externally
Excellent team working interpersonal and co-ordinating skills
Excellent communication skills written, oral and presentational
Good level of IT skills - Microsoft Office
Full driving license
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Knowledge of the engineering, IT or communications sectors would be a distinct advantage
