A growing, fiercely independent insurance broker has a vacancy in its Glasgow office for a New Business Development Executive. This is a wonderful opportunity to join an already successful business and promote further growth through the acquisition and long-term retention of new clients. The role encompasses Central Scotland and south of the border, includes Cumbria and Tyne and Wear. The nature of the role demands that you will be Glasgow based and in possession of a clean, full driving licence.
Our client will consider applications from Cert CII qualified applicants across a range of previous experience, but strong, cross-class commercial experience is essential. The right, partly qualified applicants will also be considered and progress toward full qualification will be actively encouraged. You will be able to demonstrate a confident and professional manner and a record of direct contact with a customer base and a strong perception of selling both yourself and the business in a competitive environment. It is a key part of our client's strategy to encourage you to maintain contact with new clients, thereby encouraging longer-term retention. An attractive overall package will include a bonus based upon a share of all NB commission, plus, in year two, a smaller commission to be paid on retention.
