Airbus is seeking a qualified Network Security Operation/Technology specialist to join our innovative, high-energy Network Security team in Filton or Broughton.
As a Network Security Operation/Technology specialist, you are responsible for the Security of Airbus Network Infrastructure. Your technical expertise is second only to your integrity and real passion for security and technology in general.
Network Security Operation/Technology Specialist mission:
o Support Network security team to ensure end to end operation
o Is the Technical Expert in order to advise and deliver a specific technology or methodology use case.
o Supports and advises the business service designers to make the best use of network security services.
o Anticipate technology innovations and plan their introduction into Airbus Information System.
Airbus needs to on board people with proven experience on new state of the Art Connectivity technology, i.e. new concepts/ protocols/technologies enabling Digitalization and Flexible ICT used by the leading edge Digital companies.
She/he strongly contributes to transformation of Airbus IT, by influencing culture change and establishing new way of working.
Main activities (by priority)
o Operate Airbus Network Security Services according to signed SLA
o Has full end to end accountability for Network security services design in line with business solution needs.
o Support the Implementation and review controls to protect Airbus information system
o Level 3 resolution of major operational and service problems, manage all related network crisis cells.
o Continuously optimize the performance of Network Security environment whilst in operation.
o Ensure Network security and integrity in accordance to Airbus Security Policy.
o Work with software development teams to proactively assess risk, fix security issues, and provide policy guidance
o Lead the Technical aspect of Network security Service
o Is the Technical Expert in order to advise and deliver a specific technology or methodology use case
o Technical reference in terms of development and operation
o Drive the standardization and harmonization of the network security solutions and process at Airbus group level.
o Develop new ways of automation for identification, remediation, and validation of security rules and issues.
o Ensure the network security requirements are met during the project in line with business requirements, budget and time schedule.
o Provides support and implementation for corporate security projects.
o Responsible for continual improvement and innovation and plan their introduction into Airbus Group Information System.
This role will involve some travel for business once a month or less in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
You will have the following skills and experience:
o International exposure, good communication skills (ability to synthetize, structure and vulgarize highly technical topics)
o Excellent internal and external networking security skills, significant technical curiosity and willingness to learn
o Negotiation level in English
o Security certifications encouraged
o Good Knowledge of state of the art Network Security technologies, as well as emerging technologies:
o Firewall and NIDS (e.g. Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet)
o Cloud base security (CASB, AWS, Office365…)
o Following Knowledge would be a plus
o Scripting and automation experience: Programming (ie: Python…); Automation (ie: API usage, Ansible, Tufin)
o Network Access Control: 802.1x (e.g. Cisco)
o VPN Client to Site, Site to Site (F5, Extended Enterprise)
