Network Security Manager required to work for one of the UK's leading media and entertainment brands, with a consumer reach of over 24 million people.
Working within the wider technical function, this is a brand new role which will embed into the wider Networking team and will envitbaly take ownership and manage all internal, external and remote networks from ISP, datacentre, and related cloud. You will help to ensure the overall threat levels are are addressed along with helping to define future security standards across the wider organisation.
To successfully apply you will have proficiency around the following:
Working knowledge around the following ;OSPF,BGP,VPN,MPLS,VTP,STP
Proficiency around wider Cisco/ Extreme toolkit/ switches/ Routers
Experience supporting cloud environments be it AWS, google cloud etc
CISSP qulaification or similar would also be highly desirable

AWS/Azure/Google cloud experience is essential
AWS Cloud certification is an advantage

This role will involve management of internal, external and remote networks including ISP, data centre, and cloud. You would help support and maintain all network infrastructure. Network security is a key aspect of this role and you will need to have experience in this area and be able to define future security standards.
The role has line responsibility for one person who is focused on Information Security.
The successful candidate will be proactive and willing to take ownership, and be a reference point for network security issues, but also have the ability to work within a larger multidisciplinary team.
You should be a self-starter and thrive in a busy and exciting environment.
