Network Design Specialist sought by one of the UK's leading universities located in the Midlands. They looking for a Network Design Specialist that will provide their technical expertise and support for the strategic development of the Universities network services.
You will work closely with the Network Manager to ensure the delivery of an exceptional IT support service for the Universities infrastructure services. The ideal candidate will be required to assist in the strategic development and design of the campus network active infrastructure. This will ensure the University will benefit from the on-going development and support for state of the art computing and information services for both staff and students.
To be considered for the role of Network Design Specialist, you will need to have the following demonstrable skills and experience in a large scale computing environment:
• Excellent experience of Network Design
• Ability to work cooperatively and collectively within a team environment
• Working in a large complex computing environment
• DNS/DHCP (Infoblox)
• Load Balancing/VPN/Secure Application Access/SSO (F5 Bid-IP)
• Firewall (Fortinet)
• Brocade Networks
• Wireless Networking (Aruba/Meru)
• Network security including IPS/IDS
The successful Network Design Specialist will be offered a salary of up to £47,000 plus excellent benefits package, up to 22% pension and holidays that can go up to 40 days!
