Network Content Protection Manager

The role is leading a team within this leading technology organisation that is analysing and improving content protection efforts of entertainment and communications businesses

Your key responsibilities

This newly established team is instrumental in improving the detection and takedown of illegal provision of content with particular focus on live streaming.

  • Develop pioneering approaches to combat illegal content distribution
  • Analyse and improve effectiveness of anti-piracy measures
  • Lead a small team of highly motivated and skilled developers and analysts
  • Form a deep understanding of the infrastructure that is used to illegally deliver content, in particular live streaming
  • Explore how a telecommunications company can benefit the efforts
  • Liaise with industry such as hosting providers and Internet Service Providers
  • Provide advice on anti-piracy strategies

Your skills

  • Knowledge of Internet Service Provider industry and technology
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Python, Scripting, UNIX
  • Data analysis
  • Lead and inspire technical specialists
  • Work with a wide range of stakeholders from technical specialists to board level
  • Manage third party relationships
  • Self-motivated and autonomous working style
  • Creativity in finding innovative solutions to hard problems
