.NET Developer - Want the ability to choose your own tech?

Salary: £40-55k

Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire

You'll be an experienced .NET Developer (multiple roles) with good experience of C#, Agile, TDD and SOLID principles and a belief in the power of team collaboration. As a .NET Developer, you will work on lots of greenfield projects to help automate back office systems in order to allow my client to scale and consolidate its position in the market.

My client is a privately-owned business that has been going for over 30 years. Having got to be No.1 in the UK in their industry they are now investing heavily in tech and solutions to help scale and evolve to be able to meet current and future business and customer demands.

The CTO believes in a collaborative and team focused approach where the collective agrees the best technologies, frameworks and approaches (XP, JavaScript, Cloud......) to utilise in order to deliver the best result. All the good things about a start-up environment but with the stability of an established company. As a .NET Developer, you will be able to flex your leadership and coaching muscles, as well as enjoy your time coding with like-minded individuals!

This is what you'll need to be a .NET Developer here:

  • Working as part of agile teams involving sprint planning
  • TDD, pairing and CI/CD
  • Helping team members to achieve the collective goal
  • Strong appreciation of design principles including SOLID
