.Net Developer

We are seeking a .NET developer to join our team in Leeds. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining .NET applications using C#, SQL Server 2016, ASP.Net and WPF technologies. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and develop the different layers of our application infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

Your responsibilities:

  • Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Integrate data storage solutions.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

About you:

To be successful in the role, you’ll have:

  • strong knowledge of .NET framework including the latest version 4.6.
  • proficiency in C# and Asp.Net, with a good knowledge of their ecosystems
  • strong understanding of object-oriented programming
  • skill for writing reusable libraries
  • familiarity with various design and architectural patterns
  • knowledge of concurrency patterns
  • strong knowledge and preferably administrative experience with MS SQL Server
  • sufficient experience with Visual Studio 2017
  • experience with popular web application frameworks
  • strong knowledge of Windows Presentation Framework
  • knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
  • understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
  • experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
  • stack experience on Web API, Entity Framework, TSQL, SSIS, Stored procedures
  • good understanding of Design Patterns and SOLID principle
  • experience of TDD (test driven development), Javascript/jQuery, Ajax, Cloud hosting platforms
  • experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT, VSTS
  • BS in computer science or related field
  • ability to work with the remote team
  • good analytical and problem solving skill
  • ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and projects
  • good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
