ASP.NET Developer needed for an FMCG Start-up providing a CRM/ Business Management software solution. . This role will allow you to be very customer facing and allow you to use your customer service excellence at the same time as developing the future of our software. This system deals with lead and sale management, customer and project management, installation management and whilst tracking sales and purchases, also provides outputs to third party accounting packages.

As the sole developer, you will be key to the direction of the software and how it helps their customers. As such, your experience in business analysis and strategic planning will be invaluable. You will get to show off this ability as you sit with a range of businesses to understand the many varied ways in which they currently manage their businesses and help them to understand how our system can help them to improve their current processes. Equally, you will be helping them to map across their own data, which could be in anything from an excel spreadsheet to a range of database from Access to Oracle and everything in between into their system.

Core Skills

You will need to be;

·A competent Project Manager with proven methodologies

·Experienced in Specification and Scope writing (with examples to show at interview)

·A Business analyst, able to quickly understand varying business requirements

·A customer centric communicator who can adapt their communication style to suit the customer

·An experienced programmer using the following technologies;

·ASP.NET(C#) MVC 5 + Web API

·Entity Framework 5/6 (Code First) & IOC

·Database development using SQL Server 2012+

·Javascript frameworks such as JQuery, Bootstrap, KendoUI

·Integration of external services via REST API

·HTML coding skills (ideally HTML5 + CSS3)

·Azure Hosting

·Code versioning (GIT/SVN)

·Test Driven Development

·UI/UX design

·Mobile Application Development

Core Responsibilities

You will be responsible for maintaining and developing our business management system, whilst supporting its users. This will include the following key responsibilities;

·Take technical queries from system users and helping them to resolve issues

·Quickly apply any 'fixes’ and bugs identified by users

·Meet with new potential customers to understand how they currently operate

·Provide (business analysis) advice as to how they can improve their workflows

·Migrate data (from unspecified and varied sources)

·Onboard New customers

·Provide a roadmap for future development of the system

·Provide accurate time estimates for each area of development

·Continually suggest innovative new additions to the system

·Develop the system according to the roadmap and technology stack

·Test the system before deploying new developments

·Deploy the system and organise beta testing
