This is an opportunity to join an engineering function close to London Bridge whose sole purpose is to engineer greenfield cloud-based solutions that serve genuine business needs. All work is focussed around best practices and TDD, with true advancement offered using C#, .NET Core, Azure and AWS.
The organisation doesn't focus on one particular sector as such, but rather provide cutting edge solutions to a whole host of different companies.
This isn't a .NET engineering role for anybody, the development function is full of some of the best .NET engineers in the UK and they are looking to continue. In terms of "must have", there are a few core competencies as listed below:
- Proven experience building scalable back-end systems in .NET technologies
- A history of adhering to best practice, particularly around TDD
- Exposure to architecture principles and a history of influencing architecture in a previous role
- A core understanding of Microservices architecture
- Experience of working in a truly Agile environment - not following Agile to the n'th degree but actually being Agile!
Whilst the above list builds a picture of strong criteria, the advancement in this role is exemplary - the .NET engineer will have a real input in architecture and work on some of the most talked-about projects in the development sphere.
