Our client is the largest landlord group in the North East, owning and managing almost 34,000 homes in an area spanning North Tyneside to York, with the majority of properties in the Tees Valley.

To achieve this they are recruiting to a new role: Neighbourhood Co-ordinator aimed at increasing their visibility, and ensuring the services they deliver are coordinated to ensure the best possible experience for people living in one of their homes.

They are seeking an individual who shares their values and is committed to delivering a fantastic customer experience. As a Neighbourhood Co-ordinator you will be responsible for dealing with all customer enquiries at first point of contact for an area of approximately 350 properties. Delivering high levels of performance you will be responsible for maximising income and minimising loss at a neighbourhood level. Letting and managing empty homes, income recovery, tenancy and estate management as well as low level anti-social behaviour are just some of the duties for this varied and generic role.

As a Neighbourhood Co-ordinator you will be the local relationship maker, building trust with their customers and identifying new and building on existing partnerships. Responding to the voice of their customers you will be responsible for gathering local intelligence which will shape their investment, development and regeneration plans.

The successful candidate will be required to be educated to A-level standard and / or be able to show demonstrable experience within the field, including a high level of IT and other media experience. A full UK driving license with the ability to travel across the region as required if also essential.

The right person will be an excellent problem solver, able to interpret and communicate complex information whilst delivering excellent customer service to all customers, responding to the needs of their most vulnerable customers. The successful candidate will require the ability to analyse and interpret complex business intelligence (including financial data), along with being a skilled influencer and negotiator with customers, colleagues and partner organisations.
