Our client, a reputable Housing Association based in Dorset, is currently recruiting for a Neighbourhood Manager on a temporary contract. The job, which is due to start a.s.a.p., it initially due to last for six months and will be for 37 hours per week. The rate for this position is negotiable dependent upon experience.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

* Responsible for the management of a team of 7-11 staff including Neighbourhood Officers and Neighbourhood Assistants

* Ensuring all staff members are following and implementing all of the organisations policies and procedures

* Completing one to one staff training, appraisals and setting KPI’s

* Responsible for the recruitment within the team including interviewing and shortlisting

* Providing a generic tenancy management service both face-to-face and on the telephone including discussing Welfare, Benefit and Debt options

* Attending court and representing the organisation where necessary

* Oversee the team on their estate inspections ensuring all maintenance repairs and areas of improvement are recorded and dealt with effectively

The successful candidate must have experience of managing a team of staff, have a background within Housing and hold a full UK Driving License

Please note this role is offering two days remote working from home per week
