Neighbourhood Housing Officer

A new opportunity has become available for a Neighbourhood Housing Officer at Clarion Housing Group. Candidate should have previous experience as a Housing Officer or a Housing Assistant. Candidate must have a driving licence and own vehicle as the job requires travelling to sites for inspections. Candidates can be required to visit sites all 3 days.

Candidates will be:
*Delivering excellent housing management services to our customers
*Providing housing management services to the highest possible standards
*Ensuring that operational performance remains high and improves
*Ensuring neighbourhood services meet resident's expectations and priorities and that residents have opportunities to influence service delivery.

PAYE Hourly Rate: £14.85 - £17.52
LTD Hourly Rate: £18.72 - £22.09
Contract Type: 12 Weeks Temporary (Possible extension)
Weekly Hours: 18 Hours
Work Pattern: Wednesday (Afternoon), Thursday and Friday (Full Day)

Experience and pre-qualification criteria
 An understanding of housing management issues (general needs, leasehold and shared ownership)
 Knowledge of relevant legislation, and current issues within the housing sector
 The ability to exercise good judgement
 An understanding of how to deliver excellent services to customers
 Excellent communication skills, able to adapt approaches and techniques dependent on the audience
 Able to develop effective working relationships with team members, across the association and with key agencies
 Ability to work innovatively, developing good practice and new solutions to effect improvements to the service
 Ability to use computer systems as a mechanism to improve service delivery
 Good organisational skills
 Able to interpret financial accounts.
 Experience of customer service in dealing with people on the telephone and in person
 Experience working to deadlines and service level agreements
 Promotion of equality and diversity in employment and service delivery.
 Comfortable with change, welcoming it as an opportunity to grow.
 Flexible approach and commitment to achieving results
 Ability to look positively for solutions rather than obstacles.
 Customer focused.
 Ability to attend evening and weekend meetings when required
 Travel is required. A driving licence is essential.
