To deter anti social behaviour, crime, report environmental crime and prevent vandalism through hi-visible patrolling within designated patches.
To provide a local responsive service to residents, ensuring that tenancy conditions are met, repairs are reported and that urgent situations are responded to.
To carry out daily patrols as directed by the Neighbourhood Warden Supervisor.
To carry out regular high visible uniform patrol with the aim of deterring anti social behaviour and reducing fear of crime.
To, note, report, initiate and where appropriate take action, to resolve problems identified in the area such as graffiti, litter, Fly tipping and general nuisance.
Observing, record and report on voids, repairs, criminal damage, abandoned vehicles, graffiti and other nuisance action including partner agencies.
Attend court and act as a professional witness on aspects of your work as required
Take proactive action to resolve issues such as Noise Nuisance and disorderly behaviour, Neighbour dispute and referring such matters for mediation.
Maintain up-to-date written records of your observations including monthly ambience reports and compiling comprehensive reports to Warden Supervisor and partners.
Initiate and participate in the teams local diversionary activities such as the Junior warden scheme and other environmental campaigns and other community engagement activities.
To engage with the victims or the perpetrators of Crime or ASB including vulnerable residents, using existing guidelines, in order to effectively resolve the issues on the estates.
Ensure that Health and Safety, Customer Care and Equalities Policies are implemented at all times and raise any concern regarding your operation, or any other Health and Safety matters, with the Warden Supervisor
Use supplied equipments, such 2 way radio, head cameras and mobile CCTV, mobile phone for effective service delivery ensuring that, IT systems provided are utilised to input and retrieve information and reports defects to management.

This role is performed during the evenings including weekend but flexibility may be required to meet the demands of the role.
To undertake other duties appropriate to the grade and responsibilities of the post
Experience of working with people with challenging behaviour especially young and vulnerable people
Experience of working with in partnership with various groups.
Experience of working on own initiative obtained in the community.
Full clean driving licence is required as well as ability to ride bicycle.
Ability to work unsociable hours; 35hours a week performed Sunday to Saturday
Working up to 10.00pm
A minimum of 2 weekends will be required every month.
Please note that the successful candidate will need a driving licence and access to a vehicle, as the DX is located a short way from the office and sometimes the volume of post is too great to hand hold and deliver
Flexible hours are offered if needed ie: 9-3.30, to accommodate child care
